Wednesday, November 19 4:30 - 6pm For ages 8+
Bring your historic doll and learn about what girls did long ago. Sew, Bead, cook, and make books, beauty products and more! Mom, Grandma and caregivers are encouraged to participate! Pre-registration and pre-payment required. $10 for members, $15 for non-members.

Thursday, November 20 6pm - 8pm
Come for a fun evening celebrating stories from 'the good times.' Bring your high school photos, letter jackets, poodle skirts and stories to share! Refreshments will be served. $5 for members, $7 for non-members.
Thanksgiving Week: Community Day
Friday, November 28 10am - 2pm
Looking for something to do the day after Thanksgiving? Celebrate Native American traditions - make your own corn husk doll and listen to fascinating stories. From 10am - 12pm listen to storyteller Janis Us of Iroquois/Algonquin descent tell the story of the turtle and the beaver, myths about how the world was created and more. Storytelling is free with admission. $3 charge to make a corn husk doll or Native American rattle. Special Offer: First 20 people to come receive a free gift!

Enjoy a unique, interactive train-filled experience that is fun for the whole family! See scenic train set layouts, collectibles and antique trains. Show opens after Fairfield's tree lighting ceremony on December 5, and is then open weekends through January 4. Special Opening Night Admission: $3/person (kids age 5 and under are free). Regular admission: $5/adults, $3/children, Free for members and children age 5 and under.

Events
For the 19th year in a row, Pitney Bowes is hosting Visiting Nurse and Hospice Care’s Tree of Life ceremony on December 6th at World Headquarters on Elmcroft Place in Stamford. The Tree event is nondenominational and serves as a way for bereaved families to remember their loved ones. The Tree ceremony is a VNHC signature event and raises over $80,000 for end-of-life care.
The service includes an inspirational message from VNHC Pastoral Care Coordinator Katherine Silvan and music from the heart from members of the Talmadge Hill Church Choir in New Canaan, under the direction of Rob Silvan. Katie Critelli, daughter of Pitney Bowes Executive Michael Critelli, will perform solos on her harp.
The event is from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wine and cheese will be served after the ceremony.
